Phillip Henderson’s Story
HCF: What made you decide you needed to change your life?
“The deciding factor was that I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. I studied what can I do to change how I felt, how I looked, and how I was perceived as a person the answer was clear Go Vegan.”
HCF: What steps did you take to improve your life?
“First I slowly transitioned from red meat to chicken, then from there I went vegetarian(no meat), after that I went full-on vegan(no meat, no dairy). It was a difficult process from vegetarian to vegan for about 2 months but after the changes in weight and energy it was an easy lifestyle to adjust to.”
HCF: What motivates you to keep on this path?
“For me, my motivation is my family, health, and the future for animals. I want this world to be a healthier place and I want people to realize how stubborn it is to consume animals because this planet is theirs too.”
HCF: What are you most proud of going thru this journey?
“I am so proud of how I feel, look, and how active my family is now. I am also happy my wife doesn’t have problems with diabetes any more. I am also proud of our knowledge and wisdom we’ve gained about this world and about our lifestyle.”
HCF: What future goals do you have?
“My goals are to be a vegan nutritionist, a personal trainer, also a vegan dietitian even an activist for the animals. I also want to drop about 30 more pounds and be under 200 pounds.”
HCF: If you could share any advice or words of encouragement what would they be?
“My advice is to never settle yourself short, you can do anything you set your mind to. I’ve lost 92 pounds in 6 months if I can do it you can to just set your mind to it. I also say don’t get comfortable in life don’t settle for where you work, how you look, how you feel, and how you act. Just think of what you can do in this world and just do it. Don’t make excuses make results.”
